And so to Brisbane for the Wash Futures Conference
All the information about the conference is on the website of course – I was pleased to chair a session on SUSTAINABLE RURAL WATER SYSTEMS TO SUPPORT HEALTH AND WELLBEING, pleased to have as speakers Harold Lockwood (Agua Consult), Tim Foster (Institute for Sustainable Futures - University of Technology, Sydney and Paul Hutchings (Cranfield University). Also pleased to assist in judging the posters and to run a half-day training workshop with Paul H on ‘The future of community management for rural water supply’.
Thanks to the conference organisers for supporting my visit and to DFAT for the very impressive overall support they gave to this impressive conference.
