Puri, a pilgrimage town on the coast of Odisha, is supporting the 24x7 pilots with impressive developments in temporary container based chlorination plants, so that they can ensure water quality in pilot District Metering Areas until the rest of the 200,000 population becomes 24x7, thereby guaranteeing water quality for all; impressive developments also in automation: in the photo, general manager Mr Mishra demonstrating to the IRC and UNICEF colleagues how the water supply pumps, pressures and treatment can all be controlled from a mobile phone ...... hopefully, after this demonstration on a UNICEF smartphone, by only one mobile phone!
