'Floating' Septic Tanks!

A neighbour has been installing a new septic tank …. during the wettest February since …. and it never stopped raining over the weekend and three separate pumps failed …. so of course the tank wouldn’t stay down in its excavation .... all such tanks have a tendency to want to 'float' in the groundwater - until that is they are filled with waste water. Using the excavator is one way of keeping it down until the concrete sets.
